Big Rig Crash Causes Fire and Traffic Delays on Paso Robles Highway

PASO ROBLES, CA (August 16, 2024) — A big rig collision on northbound U.S. Highway 101, south of Paso Robles, caused a fire and major traffic delays early this morning. Fuel from the truck ignited near the railroad tracks, leading to road closures and diversions.
The Paso Robles Fire Department and West Coast Towing are working to stabilize and remove the semi-trailer involved in the big rig crash on Paso Robles. It is assumed that the highway will remain closed north of the Spring Street offramp until about noon.
