Boating Accident at Lake Ming Results in Death of Washington Man
KERN COUNTY, CA (April 25, 2024) — A 62-year-old man from Brush Prairie, Washington, tragically lost his life in a boating incident at Lake Ming, according to the Kern County coroner. Kyle Lee Cannon was ejected from a boat near the Lake Ming boat dock and later pronounced dead at Kern Medical on April 21.
The Lake Ming boating accident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m., prompting emergency response and subsequent hospitalization where Cannon succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are conducting a postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause and manner of his death.
