Chico High School Student Severely Injured in Crosswalk Crash
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 12, 2024) — A serious incident occurred at the intersection of Esplanade and West Sacramento Avenue, where a 17-year-old Chico High School student was struck by a vehicle, resulting in major injuries. The crash involved a 23-year-old Chico State student driving the car.
Authorities reported that the high school student was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when the collision took place.
