Comedian Perry Kurtz Identified as Victim in Fatal Tarzana Hit-and-Run

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 17, 2024) — The tragic hit-and-run crash that happened Thursday night in Los Angeles has been confirmed to have claimed the life of stand-up comedian Perry Kurtz. The collision reportedly occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana.
According to authorities, Kurtz, 73, was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle.
