Community Mourns Loss of 10-Year-Old Boy in Sanger Traffic Accident [Sanger, CA]

SANGER, CA (March 10, 2024) —

The Sanger community is grappling with the tragic loss of 10-year-old Jameson Doyle, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident near Rotary Ball Park during a baseball practice session last Thursday. 

The Sanger traffic accident, which took place at the intersection of Bethel and Cherry avenues, has deeply impacted the community and Jameson’s peers at Quail Lakes Environmental Elementary School, where he was a well-loved fifth grader.

In the wake of this tragedy, Sanger Police, under Chief Garner, have voiced their deep sorrow, underscoring the profound effect on both the family and the wider community. Immediate response efforts highlighted the need for urgent support for those impacted.

As investigations proceed, with cooperation from the 18-year-old truck driver involved, the community has begun to rally, offering support through memorials and pausing local baseball activities and school events to honor Jameson’s memory.
