Construction Worker Fatally Crushed by Forklift in Bel Air
BEL AIR, CA (April 16, 2024) — A tragic accident in Los Angeles’ Bel Air neighborhood resulted in the death of a construction worker on Monday.
The incident took place around 1 p.m. at a site located on the 900 block of North Moraga Drive, where the worker was crushed by a forklift carrying steel rebar.
Los Angeles city firefighters quickly responded to the scene following reports of a person trapped under the heavy equipment. Despite their efforts, the man was determined to be “beyond medical help” and was pronounced dead at the site. Efforts to secure and stabilize the area were captured by Sky5, assisting the Medical Examiner in the recovery of the worker’s body.
The identity of the deceased worker has not been released as of yet. No other injuries were reported from this Bel Air construction accident.
