Critical Injuries in Victorville T-Bone Crash

VICTORVILLE, CA (September 5, 2024) — A severe traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Smoke Tree Road in Victorville on Tuesday morning, leaving a woman critically injured. The incident, which took place around 9:45 am on September 3, involved a white Volkswagen Jetta and a black Toyota Scion TC.
According to Victorville City Fire, the female driver of the Scion was trapped inside her vehicle and required extrication by firefighters. Once freed, she was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by Mercy Air, which landed directly at the scene.
The driver of the Volkswagen, also a woman, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. Her son, who arrived on the scene, stated that she was heading to her job at a nearby toy factory when the accident occurred.
