TORRANCE, CA (April 18, 2024) — A dramatic car crash resulted in a power outage in a San Fernando neighborhood on Wednesday night.
The incident, which took place just before 10 p.m. on the 1300 block of Truman Street, involved a single vehicle that collided with an electrical box, according to the San Fernando Police Department.
Responding officers discovered the car overturned near the destroyed electrical infrastructure, which led to the blackout. Although the driver was not injured, their actions leading to the San Fernando DUI crash are under investigation.
