Fatal Collision: Man Hits Tree and Dies in Madera
MADERA, CA (April 7, 2024) — A tragic accident in Madera claimed the life of a man on Saturday evening when his vehicle collided with a tree, according to local authorities. The Madera Police Department responded to the incident on south Madera Avenue, just north of Pecan Avenue, around 7 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a red and black sedan that had struck a tree on the west side of the road and caught fire. Police managed to extinguish the flames quickly, preventing further damage to the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the driver, a man in his 30s and the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
