Fatal Collision: Man Hits Tree and Dies in Madera
MADERA, CA (April 7, 2024) — A tragic accident in Madera claimed the life of a man on Saturday evening when his vehicle collided with a tree, according to local authorities. The Madera Police Department responded to the incident on south Madera Avenue, just north of Pecan Avenue, around 7 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a red and black sedan that had struck a tree on the west side of the road and caught fire. Police managed to extinguish the flames quickly, preventing further damage to the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the driver, a man in his 30s and the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not been released as investigations continue to determine the cause of the crash. Police urge anyone with information about the tree collision in Madera to come forward and contact them at (559) 675-4239.
