Fatal Crash on 605 Freeway in Los Alamitos Leaves One Dead [Los Alamitos, CA]
ORANGE COUNTY, CA (May 25, 2024) — Authorities discovered a body lying in the roadway amid debris following a violent crash on the 605 Freeway early Saturday morning.
CHP officers and the Orange County Fire Authority responded to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the northbound side of the 605 at Katella Avenue in Los Alamitos around 2 a.m.
The body of the unidentified victim was found in the middle of the freeway and pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear whether the victim was ejected from a vehicle or struck after exiting.
The cause of the fatal crash in Los Alamitos is currently under investigation.
