Fatal Hit-and-Run in Reseda: Police Seek Public’s Help
RESEDA, CA (April 16, 2024) — Los Angeles Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run incident in Reseda on Sunday evening.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on Sherman Way near Etiwanda Avenue, where a pedestrian in his 60s was struck and killed.
According to LAPD officials, the man was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when he unexpectedly fell. While down, he was hit by a dark-colored sedan traveling eastbound, which then fled the scene without stopping to assist.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released as the investigation into the Reseda hit-and-run continues. The city is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the resolution of this case.
