GARDEN GROVE, CA (April 4, 2024) — A tragic incident occurred in Garden Grove Tuesday afternoon when a motorcyclist collided with a garbage truck, resulting in the rider’s death.
The accident took place around 1:15 p.m. on the 11700 block of Western Avenue, as reported by the Garden Grove Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the 56-year-old Anaheim man, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, unresponsive on the road. Despite prompt transportation to a local trauma center by paramedics, he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the garbage truck stayed at the crash site, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
