Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Temecula
Temecula, CA (August 6, 2024) — A crash on Tuesday morning on southbound Interstate 15 in Temecula resulted in a fatality. The multi-vehicle collision was reported at approximately 6:18 a.m. south of state Route 79.
The incident involved a pickup truck and at least one other vehicle. Preliminary reports suggest that the deceased was ejected from a vehicle. Authorities believe that alcohol and/or drugs may have been factors in the crash.
A SigAlert was issued shortly after the Temecula vehicle crash, and as of 9:47 a.m., southbound traffic remained slow. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
