Fatal Pedestrian Crash Closes Westbound 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 6, 2024) — A tragic incident occurred on the 60 Freeway near Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley early this morning, leading to the closure of all westbound lanes. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 3 a.m. and involved a pedestrian who was found deceased on the roadway.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released as investigations continue. In response to the accident, the CHP issued a SigAlert, shutting down the freeway to allow for a thorough examination of the scene to determine the cause of the Moreno Valley pedestrian crash.
