Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident on Lytle Creek Road
(August 4, 2024) — A single-vehicle accident on Lytle Creek Road resulted in a fatality on Friday night. The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. on August 2, 2024, approximately 2-3 miles north of Glen Helen Parkway.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, the vehicle lost control and overturned onto the westbound lanes. Preliminary reports indicated a female passenger was severely injured, exhibiting signs of bleeding and difficulty breathing.
Emergency services responded, confirming one person who died at the scene of the crash. The coroner has been notified. The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
