Female Victim in Victorville Pedestrian Accident Identified
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 19, 2024) —
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed the identity of a pedestrian fatally struck in Victorville on the evening of March 9, 2024. Eslyn Vazquez, 39, was the victim of the tragic accident that occurred at approximately 7:30 pm on Amargosa Road, near Eucalyptus Street.
Responding to the incident, deputies from the Victorville Police Department and Victorville City Fire Department found Vazquez deceased at the scene.
Initial reports from Sheriff’s spokeswoman Socorroa Cuevas indicate that Vazquez was walking in the southbound lane of Amargosa Road when she was hit by a vehicle. A second vehicle, following the first, also struck her. Statements have been taken from the drivers involved in the accident.
