GoFundMe Launched for Victorville Family Killed in Rialto Crash
RIALTO, CA (July 31, 2024) — A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to cover the funeral expenses of three Victorville family members who died in a car crash early Sunday morning in Rialto.
The fatal Rialto crash happened around 2:35 a.m. on July 28, 2024, on the westbound 210 Freeway near North Pepper Avenue. California Highway Patrol officers found a 2005 Cadillac Escalade on fire. Steven Banuelos Ortiz, 18, Jacqueline Alexandra Banuelos, 19, and their mother, Maria Concepcion Ortiz De Santiago, 57, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified the driver at the time of the crash. Witnesses stated the vehicle initially traveled in the right lane, then shifted to the far left before veering off the road.
Jonathan Noriega, a family member, created the GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs. The campaign states the family was returning from a catering event when the tragedy happened and is seeking donations for funeral expenses.
