Head-On Collision in Jawbone Canyon Injures Two, One Airlifted
JAWBONE CANYON, CA (April 22, 2024) — Two individuals were injured in a head-on collision involving off-road vehicles in Jawbone Canyon on Saturday afternoon.
The Kern County Fire Department responded to the incident, which occurred on a dirt road south of Jawbone Canyon Road in eastern Kern County.
One of the injured was airlifted to the hospital by Mercy Air 14 due to the severity of their injuries, while the other, suffering less critical injuries, was transported by ground ambulance, as reported by the Kern County Fire Department.
