Hesperia Man Killed in Antelope Valley Head-On Car Crash
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 11, 2024) — A tragic traffic accident in the Antelope Valley claimed the life of 32-year-old Cameron Miles from Hesperia, officials confirmed on Monday. The incident occurred early Friday morning around 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of 240th Street East and Avenue O, as reported by the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Medical Examiner.
According to preliminary investigations by the CHP, Miles was driving a 2012 Chrysler northbound on 240th Street East when his vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a southbound 2011 Dodge Ram. The collision resulted in minor injuries for the driver of the Dodge Ram, who was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, Miles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miles was a dedicated lineman employed by IBEW Local 47, according to his Facebook page.
