High-Speed Car Crash in Altadena Claims Two Lives
ALTADENA, CA (March 5, 2024) — In the early hours of Tuesday, a tragic high-speed accident occurred in Altadena, resulting in the deaths of a man and a woman.
Responding to the scene at 64 West Loma Alta and Loma View Drive around 1 a.m., authorities discovered a car flipped over and ablaze. The California Highway Patrol reported the vehicle was traveling at double the residential area’s speed limit of 30 mph when it collided with a parked car and overturned.
According to Jose Maduena of the CHP, excessive speed played a significant role in the catastrophic car crash in Altadena.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel worked to retrieve the victims from the fiery wreckage, who were later pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash’s precise cause is ongoing.
