Kids Injured in Golf Cart Accident at Fresno Intersection

FRESNO, CA (August 19, 2024) — Two individuals were injured in a golf cart accident on Sunday afternoon at a busy Fresno intersection. The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at Herndon and Marks avenues.
Fresno Police Lt. Leslie Williams reported that four young people were involved after allegedly taking a neighbor’s golf cart without permission. The cart overturned when one of them was driving recklessly.
An 11-year-old sustained minor scratches, while a seven-year-old suffered a broken leg and was treated at Valley Children’s Hospital. The two older individuals, ages 15 and 16, did not require medical treatment. Authorities continue to investigate this golf cart accident at Fresno.
