LAPD Seeks Help in Pico Hit-and-Run Leaving Pedestrian Severely Injured
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 21, 2024) — The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is urgently seeking assistance from the public in a hit-and-run case that occurred in the Pico-Union area late last December.
On Dec. 29, 2023, around 6 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a white Dodge Charger with dark-tinted windows traveling west on Pico Boulevard. The driver callously fled the scene, leaving the victim, a 21-year-old man, critically injured with severe skull injuries.
As the investigation continues, LAPD detectives are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Any help would be crucial in identifying the suspect responsible for this reckless act.
The city is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the perpetrator in the Pico hit-and-run.
