Man Killed by Own Pit Bulls in Compton [Los Angeles, CA]

COMPTON, CA (February 17, 2024) — In a tragic incident in Compton, a 35-year-old man was fatally mauled by his pit bulls in his backyard, prompting a response from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department early Friday morning. The attack is believed to have occurred Thursday evening while the victim was feeding the dogs, leading to a fatal altercation.

Local news footage revealed a distressing scene with the victim found inside a kennel. Authorities managed to secure five adult pit bulls and eight puppies, with assistance from firefighters to ensure safety amidst the chaos.
