Motorcyclist Killed in Midtown Sacramento Collision

SACRAMENTO, CA (August 25, 2024) — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday following a crash with a vehicle in Midtown Sacramento. The collision occurred just before noon at the intersection of 24th and J streets, according to Officer Allison Smith of the Sacramento Police Department.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to a hospital but did not survive. Authorities closed the area to traffic as officers investigated the scene of the Midtown Sacramento motorcycle crash. The County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once the family has been notified.
