Multi-Vehicle Collision in Fullerton Leaves One Dead, Three Hospitalized
FULLERTON, CA (April 16, 2024) — A tragic accident occurred just after midnight on Monday in Fullerton, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
The incident, which involved a BMW, a Chevrolet Silverado, and a Toyota RAV4, took place at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.
Fullerton Police reported that a 62-year-old woman from Anaheim, a passenger in the Toyota, died at the scene. The 22-year-old driver of the Toyota and two individuals from the other vehicles were injured and have been transported to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the crash, with initial reports suggesting that the BMW 428i may have been speeding and that impairment from drugs or alcohol could have been a factor. The BMW reportedly hit the rear of the Toyota, which was stopped at a red light, before colliding with the Chevrolet also stopped at the light.
The identity of the deceased in the vehicle collision in Fullerton has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
