The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of three individuals who died in a head-on collision early Friday morning in Adelanto.
The victims, Rogelio Hernandez, 44, and Jamie Hernandez, 41, both of Adelanto, were in a gray Chevrolet Tahoe when they were involved in the fatal crash. The driver of the other vehicle, a red Honda Civic, has been identified as 20-year-old Jose Silva from Palmdale.
The car crash in Adelanto happened at approximately 5:55 a.m. on February 7, 2025, on El Mirage Road. The Honda Civic, traveling eastbound, reportedly crossed over the center divider, leading to a head-on crash with the westbound Chevrolet Tahoe.
Three additional passengers from the Tahoe were reportedly transported to local hospitals with injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Deputy R. Morales of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) at the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, 760-552-6800.
