SANTA CLARITA, CA – Nelson Vides, a 23-year-old from Santa Clarita, tragically lost his life in a pedestrian accident Monday night in Saugus.
Authorities say Vides had been seen leaving The Shot Exchange bar on Bouquet Canyon Road before walking into traffic. He was struck by two vehicles around 10:45 p.m., according to witnesses. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Saugus pedestrian accident, which occurred near Festividad Drive, is being investigated as an accident by local authorities. No criminal charges have been filed, and no arrests have been made at this time.
