SAN DIEGO, CA – Authorities are searching for the driver who fled after hitting two young women in San Diego’s College neighborhood last November, leaving them with serious injuries.
A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 2 in the 5000 block of College Avenue. The victims, ages 19 and 20, suffered multiple fractures, with one sustaining a brain bleed and the other a lacerated lung. The driver did not stop.
Investigators believe the vehicle was a dark-colored BMW 5 Series (2010-2017) that lost its driver’s side mirror in the collision. Authorities suspect the car has since been repaired.
