Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver responsible for the death of 44-year-old Josh Nichols, who was struck and killed while walking home in Lake Elsinore.
Nichols was found lying on Riverside Drive, west of Baker Street, around 1 a.m. on Feb. 18. Deputies arrived to find him unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Evidence suggests he was hit by a vehicle that fled the area.
