
LOS ANGELES, CA – Two people sustained serious injuries early Monday morning in a wrong-way crash on the southbound 405 Freeway in Inglewood.
The crash occurred around 3:49 a.m., prompting CHP to issue a SigAlert and temporarily close all southbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers said a driver traveling in the wrong direction collided with multiple vehicles, resulting in major injuries to two individuals who were transported to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have not yet determined why the driver was going the wrong way. All lanes reopened shortly after 5 a.m. as the investigation into the wrong-way crash in Inglewood continued.
