A 20-year-old woman from Oak Hills was killed early Saturday morning when her vehicle veered off the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway and crashed into a tow yard.
The incident was reported at 12:28 a.m. on March 8, approximately half a mile south of Oak Hill Road. According to California Highway Patrol, the driver’s 2008 Mazda left the roadway and collided with Desert Valley Tow, located between the freeway and Mariposa Road.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Family members arrived shortly after and were notified of her passing.
The cause of the Oak Hills crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released further details.
