A 55-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a parked vehicle in Long Beach.
The crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. Saturday near 51st Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The motorcyclist fell onto the roadway before colliding with the parked car.
Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released pending family notification.
Investigators believe speed may have contributed to the Long Beach crash.
