On Monday night in Encino, a collision involving an LAPD patrol vehicle and a dark-colored station wagon resulted in a mother and her 6-year-old daughter being taken to the hospital.
The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 5600 block of Lindley Avenue. While details remain scarce — such as whether the officers’ lights and sirens were activated — footage from the scene shows the station wagon stopped with its front entirely on the sidewalk and in contact with a police cruiser.
Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department quickly assisted the pair, seen in a wheelchair, and loaded them into an ambulance. Both vehicles sustained only minor damage. Investigators are continuing to probe the circumstances surrounding the Encino crash.
