A traffic crash involving a Caltrans truck and a Honda Accord occurred on Thursday afternoon on Golden Center Freeway, south of Sacramento Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at around 4 p.m. when a Honda Accord struck the rear of a Caltrans Safety Truck.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the Honda driver with major injuries. The driver was transported to Sutter Roseville Hospital for treatment. A Caltrans employee involved in the crash was also taken to the same hospital for evaluation, although their injuries remain unknown.The CHP is investigating the Caltrans truck crash.
