A white Jeep experienced a multiple rollover crash on Sheep Creek Road near Yucca Terrace Drive in Phelan at approximately 6:12 p.m. on March 26.
The vehicle was said to have lost control for reasons still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol’s Victorville station and ended up about 50 feet off the road in the desert.
Authorities said that one individual was trapped inside the Jeep while another was ejected from the vehicle.
San Bernardino County Fire Department emergency crews responded swiftly to the site of the Phelan rollover crash and requested a medical helicopter. Mercy Air landed near a Stater Bros shopping center and airlifted the injured person to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
