
Early Monday morning, a pedestrian died after being hit by two vehicles on the southbound 5 Freeway in Anaheim.
The California Highway Patrol received a report of the incident at 2:03 a.m., just north of Lincoln Avenue.
According to the CHP, a witness reported that a truck initially struck the pedestrian in the freeway’s middle lanes. Investigators later determined that a Honda Civic also hit the pedestrian.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased. The CHP is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal Anaheim freeway collision.
