
Two individuals died early Saturday morning after a vehicle careened off a transition ramp connecting State Route 94 and Interstate 15 in the San Diego area.
The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. as the vehicle traveled eastbound on SR-94 toward northbound I-15.
The vehicle reportedly lost control, veered off the elevated ramp, became airborne, and collided with an overhead sign. It then landed on its roof on the westbound lanes of SR-94. Both the driver and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released their identities.Debris from the violent crash struck another vehicle, causing minor damage, but no additional injuries were reported. The cause of the vehicle losing control remains unclear, and the CHP is asking anyone with information on this ramp crash in San Diego to come forward.
