A head-on crash on Old Millerton Road was attributed to an impatient driver who illegally crossed a solid yellow line, according to the California Highway Patrol in Fresno.
The crash, involving two vehicles, sent both drivers to local hospitals with minor injuries. CHP officials credited seatbelt use with limiting the severity of injuries and warned that the incident could have been much worse.
In a social media post, CHP Fresno emphasized that passing over a solid or double yellow line is not only illegal but also poses a significant risk to public safety.
“No rush is worth risking lives,” the post stated, urging drivers to remain focused, stay in their lane, and show respect for others on the road. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
