A multi-vehicle collision in Northridge claimed the life of a motorcyclist and left three others in serious condition on Wednesday evening.
Authorities responded at approximately 6:23 p.m. at the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street. Video footage showed a Toyota sedan and a Ford SUV colliding head-on while the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were transported to hospital.
All vehicles sustained heavy damage, and the motorcycle appears to be a total loss. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the Northridge multi-vehicle crash is ongoing.
