A deadly car crash prompted an hours-long closure of the eastbound lanes of the 134 Freeway at the 101 interchange in Studio City.
California Highway Patrol states that the crash occurred on Saturday, 3:15 a.m. A white sedan had crashed into the center divider by the Vineland Avenue exit.
It was reported that the vehicle combusted upon impact. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and remains unidentified.
Authorities speculate that multiple vehicles may have been involved in the crash, the possible catalyst and sequence of events are currently under investigation.
