A 58-year-old man was killed in a crash with an 18-wheeler truck on the east of Interstate 80 Vacaville on Tuesday morning.
The victim was reportedly behind the wheel of a Mazda that was blocking a lane on the highway for reasons unknown when an 18-wheeler crashed into the stopped car.
The semi-truck driver is an unnamed 59-year-old man who remained on scene. He is said to be cooperating with law enforcement.
