A tow truck driver named Cris Levya was found dead following a bus-related work accident at Hosking Avenue and Monitor Street in Bakersfield Tuesday evening.
The incident unfolded at around 6:45 p.m. According to witnesses Levya was trying to tow a school bus to his vehicle when the bus later rolled over him.
Levya was pronounced dead at the scene. Police report that there were no children present and no one else was injured.
A GoFundMe was arranged by Levya’s family and friends.
