Three people sustained major injuries, with one in critical condition, following a three-way car crash in the Auburn Boulevard and Fulton Avenue area at North Sacramento Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred after 6:30 p.m. when a car that had run a red light crashed into two other cars driving through the green light. The two cars were halfway through the crossing when the red light car collided into them causing one vehicle to roll over.
An individual was left trapped following the crash and was soon extricated from the vehicle in critical condition. The other two people involved sustained non-life threatening injuries.
