A 24-year-old male driver has died after a crash caused by extreme speeding on Highway 180 California Sunday morning.
The man was behind the wheel of a Dodge Challenger driving east at speeds up to 150 miles per hour. At some point, he made an attempt to exit Temperance Avenue but instead failed causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and roll several times off the freeway.
The driver reportedly removed himself from the vehicle and landed in the South Lanes of the avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene after many life-saving efforts administered by medical responders.
