An 18-year-old woman was left with severe life-threatening injuries following a crash that took place at the Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue Intersection in Mountain View San Diego Sunday morning.
The accident happened at around 2:35 a.m.. It is said that a 21-year-old male behind the wheel of a 2009 Honda Accord failed to obey a traffic signal and crashed into the light cabinet. This caused the 18-year-old passenger to be thrown forward and strike the windshield. Investigators said that she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The woman was soon rushed to the hospital. She remains in critical condition.
