Two drivers were hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries, after a three-vehicle crash between Cobalt Road and Diamond Road in Mojave Drive Victorville early Sunday morning. Shortly after, a second crash with different people involved would occur in the same area.
The first crash involved three vehicles: a blue Ford Mustang, a white Honda Civic, and white Mercedes-Benz SUV.
Initial reports indicate that the Mustang was travelling east when it crossed over the center median and struck the Civic travelling west. The driver of the Civic had to be extricated from the vehicle after getting trapped following the collision. She was then rushed to the hospital under critical condition.
The driver of the mustang was also transported for aid after sustaining minor injuries. Meanwhile the driver of the SUV remained unharmed with her vehicle sustaining no major damages.
Not even moments after the collision, a second crash occurred in the same area. This time it involved a gray 2019 Honda Accord and a black Chevrolet Volt.
The driver of the Chevrolet told local authorities that the Honda driving in front of him suddenly stopped their vehicle, causing him to crash into the Honda’s bumper. Thankfully the drivers of both vehicles weren’t injured.
