Five people sustained injuries and four were hospitalized after a devastating car crash near N. Glenoaks Boulevard and Vaughn Street in Pacoima Saturday evening.
The incident reportedly unfolded at around 6:30 p.m. The details leading up to the crash are currently being investigated, but local firefighters speculate that speeding may be a factor.
The victims consisted of two men and women whose ages ranged from 29 to 60 years old. These four occupants were taken to nearby hospitals. The two men sustained severe injuries, while the women suffered injuries at a lesser degree.
The fifth victim, a 60-year-old man, was also hurt but reportedly turned down transport to the hospital.
