A bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run crash with a car in Mangan Park neighborhood Sacramento Monday morning.
Medical personnel were called to the scene at around 9:32 a.m. to treat the man and transport him to aid at a nearby hospital. The victim remained in stable condition, yet had critical injuries.
By the time officers arrived at the crash, the driver of the car had fled the scene.
The perpetrator of the hit-and-run was soon identified to be 29-year-old Lamont Jackson. He was arrested on charges of felony hit and run resulting in serious injury.
