A 54-year-old construction worker has died during a work accident after getting crushed by a paving truck in Brentwood Monday afternoon.
The incident happened at 3:30 p.m. A neighbor told the local news that he believed the victim was working his first day at the construction site. One the day the 54-year-old was paving the road when he was pinned and killed by the construction vehicle.
The Contra Costa coroner’s office has not yet identified the victim. Local authorities and those who knew him expressed their condolences towards the 54-year-old man’s family, friends, and co-workers in a social media post.
