An 80-year-old woman was killed with two men hospitalized after a violent crash that took place at Huntington and Chestnut Avenues in Fresno Saturday morning.
The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. and involved a black Chevy Camaro and a white Lexus Sedan. The initial collision happened when the Lexus crashed into a metal fence.
Authorities found the Lexus with severe damage and two people trapped inside. The victims had to be carefully removed by local firefighters.
The 36-year-old driver was rushed to the hospital with injuries, while the 80-year-old passenger succumbed to her severe injuries and died during treatment.
The Camaro driver — a 26-year-old male — was also hospitalized and is in stable condition.
